Vanishing Lines

Installation in Public Space Schloss Sacrow, Potsdam

Transient Spaces

Once again this art-space in Sacrow develops this very special charm of the ephemeral, which transforms the site into a kind of total artwork in progress. For example, in the room designed by Beate Spitzmüller, which traced over Lenné’s visual axes, the visitor compares image and reality; it almost becames a meditative place in which the passage of time was experienced in space. Welf Grombacher, Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung, 28 July 2004 Die Arbeit wurde speziell im Rahmen des litauisch-schwedisch-deutschen Ausstellungsprojekts zum Thema “Fluchtlinien“ für den Ort Schloss Sacrow konzipiert.

The work was specifically designed in-situ at Schloss Sacrow as part of the Lithuanian-Swedish-German exhibition project on the theme of “vanishing lines”. Transparencies on glass 2 (x) 90 x 180 cm, 1 (x) 110 x 120 cm
